DECISION THE GENERALS TO COMBAT

DECISION OF THE GENERALS TO COMBAT:

When two enemy armies meet close to each other, less than a day's march, they will resort to this rule to know if they fight.
A normal die will be thrown for each general, the tactical factors and the character of the general will be added or subtracted, with the number obtained going to the decision table.
The decision that comes out will be the one adopted by the general in the battle. If at the end of the day you can keep it, it will count as a battle won. If for any reason the battle was two days, the second will also go to the test.
Neither side may decide not to attack, the check will be made every day that the armies remain in close proximity to each other.

Tactical factors:
+ 1 for each of the following:
• Have orders to attack or advance.
• Having orders to attack or advance and be in the open.
• Win the last battle. (Less than 1 month ago)
• Have the strength with more than 80%. (counted from the beginning of the campaign)
• Numerical superiority.
• On the 2nd day and for each day that is close to the enemy. (This factor will not be counted in the case of troops protected by defenses)
• Be covered. (Advantage of the terrain, protected by obstacles, behind defenses) with orders to stay.

CLARIFICATION OF THE DECISION:

• ATTACK - The general take an active role, giving his troops orders to attack. And he win the battle if it defeats the enemy. If the two generals get the decision to ATTACK, win the battle the one that defeats the enemy.

• KEEP - A general who obtains a KEEP result give his troops only orders to stay on the battlefield, and win the battle if he is not defeated or stays on the battlefield. If the two generals get a result of KEEP that day there will be no battle and the same check will be made the next day.

• WITHDRAW - When a general gets a result of WITHDRAW, he move away from the enemy army. There will only be battle if the enemy general obtains a result of ATTACK, in which case he give his troops withdrawal orders, deploy his troops on the line that divides the table and win the battle if more than 75% of his army gets out of the game table by its long edge.

• SURRENDER - If a general obtains a result of SURRENDER, he will only surrender to the enemy, if the enemy general obtains the result of ATTACK, any other result of the enemy will allow him to RETIRE.
